We will have a limited number of extra-board/standby slots. These slots would require that you be immediately available for last-minute vacancies. Historically (since 1986) there has been a 5 to 10% last-minute cancellation rate at operations events, However there is no guarantee of getting a slot. You would be assigned as “helper” at one of the railroads, but without an operating position unless a cancellation occurs.

If your registration is received after all slots are filled, are you willing to be on the extra-board?

If you request to operate with the same group all 3 days, bid the same preferences and list the other registrants in the group here. Remember that each member of the group must submit their own registration, and make the identical layout selections!

Review the layout information in advance since we HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you make your selections with your registration, although you may make your selections later with a second submission.
